How to find us by metro:

The closest underground stations to AIL Madrid are:Spanish Language School How to get Map of the Metro in Madrid

  • Velázquez, line 4 (Brown). Take the exit posted "Goya, pares". Walk up the steps to street level and turn around. Take the first street to the right called calle Núñez de Balboa. You will see a gas station on the corner. We are located on the right hand side (number 17), just a 5 minutes walk from the metro.

  • Príncipe de Vergara, line 2 (Red) or line 9 (Purple). There is just one exit to the metro station. Walk up the steps to the street level and turn around to walk down the street (Calle Álcala). Take the third street to the right (first street Príncipe de Vergara, second street Castelló, third street Núñez de Balboa). We are located on the left hand side (number 17), just a 10 minutes walk from the metro.

  • Retiro, line 2 (Red). Take the exit posted "Lagasca". Walk up the steps to street level (do not take the ramp). Walk along the street (you will see the Retiro park across the road on the right) and take the third street to the left (first street Lagasca, second street Velázquez, third street Núñez de Balboa). We are located on the left hand side (number 17), just a 10 minutes walk from the metro.

First morning of your Spanish course

You should arrive at AIL Madrid at 9:15 am on the first Monday of your Spanish course. This will allow us to test your level of Spanish, give you your welcome pack, show you around the school, introduce you to other students and settle any fees due.
