Program Schedule
Orientation
During your first week in the Spanish University Preparation Program a series of orientation activities will be arranged for you to get to know Madrid, the school, the course, the teachers and very importantly your fellow students. Activities may include:
- A welcome lunch with fellow students and teachers.
- An introductory short course on life in Madrid: transportation, siestas, where to find things you'll need, etc.
Term 1: Monday 3rd September 2012 - Friday 21st December 2012 (University entrance date: Sept 2013)

General Spanish Language Course (Intensive Spanish)
For 20 hours a week, you will partake in the intensive Spanish
course classes available in 6 different levels with a focus on
consolidating your knowledge of Spanish in a student environment

Specialised Spanish Language Course (Individual Classes)
During the last 6 weeks of the term (starting on 5th November 2012)
you will receive 7 private Spanish classes per week which will teach
you the best studying techniques and how to write essays in Spanish |

Cultural and Social Activities Program
10 hours a week of varying activities are planned every
week, including visits to museums, walks around the city
and student nights out |

Term 2: Monday 7th January 2013 – Friday 15th March 2013 (University entrance date: Sept 2013)

improving your fluency and grammar so that you feel comfortable
in using Spanish on a daily basis |

Spanish universities and how to apply

Cultural and Social Activities Program
Every week, 10 hours of varying activites are planned to help you
develop your knowledge of Spanish culture, as well as helping
you to get to know other students |

These classes will give you tips on the administrative system,
preparing seminars and presentations, researching information
and how to write essays in Spanish |

Term 3: Monday 18th March 2013 - Friday 24th May 2013 (University entrance date: Sept 2013)

These private classes are used to review previous university
documents and exams and to perfect the necessary skills
needed to prepare for the entry exam

you will be able to develop your knowledge of the Spanish
culture, meet other students and practice your Spanish
in the real world |
