CCSE Preparation Course

Classes per week	As much as you want. We recommend blocks of classes of two hours.
CLASS SIZE	Individual or mini group of 2 or 3 students
Timetable	Classes can take place whenever during the week, including weekends, between 08.30 and 22.00h Monday to Thursday, until 21.00h on Fridays, and 18.00h on Saturdays.
Start Dates	Any day of the week, including weekends. Whenever you want!
Class duration	50 minutes. Every study session can consist of more than one class.
Levels	Students that do the CCSE Exam need to have a minimum level of A2 Spanish. If you need help to improve your Spanish before the exam, add on some extra classes and we can help you achieve your goal.

I’m Paloma M and I’m here to give you the scoop on AIL Madrid’s CCSE preparation exam!

The Spanish constitutional and sociocultural knowledge exam (conocimientos constitucionales y socioculturales de España, CCSE Exam), is a test created by the Instituto Cervantes to evaluate your knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and Spanish social and cultural facts, through distinctive tasks. It is one of the fundamental requirements by rule of law for licensing Spanish nationality for sefardíes originarios and gaining nationality for Spanish residents.

Structure of the CCSE Exam preparation classes.

Our CCSE Exam preparation classes are private, as this is the best way to prepare for the exam. You decide how many classes you want to take and when you want to have them. The classes are exclusively focussed on content for the exam. They will equip you with an exhaustive knowledge about what you have to know, as well as the best methods with which to approach the exam.

- You can enroll for the exam through the Instituto Cervantes webpage: https://examenes.cervantes.es/es/ccse/inscribirse
- The exam costs 85€, which is valid for two exam sittings in the case of:
  
  1. not being able to take the exam
  
  2. not passing the exam
- The test consists of 25 multiple choice questions, in the form of true or false, or with 3 different possible answers of which only one is correct. 60% of the questions will be related to government, law and civic engagement in Spain, the remaining 40% will be on Spanish culture, history and society. The test lasts for 45 minutes.
- The certificate of completion of the Constitutional and Socio-Cultural Knowledge test (CCSE) is valid for 4 years.
- You must inform our Student Care Team via email 24 hours previous to your class and we will reschedule it to your convinience. If you inform with less than 24 hours previous to your class, the class can´t be recovered.
- If you would like to prepare yourself for the SIELE alongside with a family member or a friend, you can create your own group of 2, 3 or more people which you feel comfortable studying with and that way reduce the cost of each class.

  The discount for +10 classes is only applied if the total payment is made before the first class. There is no enrollment fee for the SIELE exam preparation. AIL's classes have a duration of 50min, classes otuside AIL have a 60min duration.
