Total Immersion: a teacher's view

Total Immersion: a teacher's view

Hi there!

My name’s Paloma M and I’m a Spanish teacher here at AIL Madrid!

The Spanish Total Immersion Program is ideal for students who have limited time, but want to fully commit to learning Spanish, and make the fastest possible progress. 6 classes a day, 5 days a week may seem like a lot, but seeing immediate results makes it all worth the effort! Be prepared to turn your brain into a sponge as you absorb the key language skills that will make such a difference to your ability to communicate in Spanish!

The 30 classes of Spanish per week focused on the whole range of skills from reading, speaking to listening and writing will give you a massive amount of exposure to the language. No other program delivers the same results in such a short space of time, and makes it all fun! But that’s what makes AIL so special!

It is important to note that, in this course, you will be in two different groups (one for 20 classes per week and one for 10 classes per week) with two different teachers. Your timetable will most likely be from 9am to 3pm or 11am to 5pm, depending on your level and our current groupings/schedule. Please note that the two groups will be at similar levels, but not necessarily the exact same level: a B1 student might, for example, be in a low B1 group and mid B1 group.
