My name is Paloma G, I'm a Spanish teacher here at AIL Madrid, and I’d like to tell you about our Semi-Intensive Spanish Course in virtual classrooms!

Many of AIL Madrid's students choose our Semi Intensive Spanish Course due to daily commitments, such as work or studies, which make it impossible for them to attend the regular Intensive Course. Learning Spanish on top of a busy schedule can seem overwhelming but we are here to help you every step of the way! We will integrate you into your group class and make you feel at ease from day ONE! Learning at AIL Madrid is a fun experience, even for the busiest of people! Throughout the course, we work on developing your communication skills as well as grammar and vocabulary. The course content is adapted exactly to your needs. We want you to make the most of your time, and we look forward to sharing your progress!

- The one-off enrollment fee includes:
  - First textbook and all required learning materials
  - Welcome tapas and drinks
  - Level assessment (outside of class time)
  - Course attendance certificate
- This course is typically only available from level A1.2 onwards.
- Our academic coordinators are highly qualified and will analyse the Spanish level test and self-evaluation that we will ask you to complete before your arrival in order to find a group that matches your level of Spanish language skills and knowledge. However, if after your first day of class you feel as though the group you have been placed in is too easy or too difficult, let us know! We will test your Spanish once more to place you in a more suitable group for your level.
- AIL Madrid uses textbooks recommended by Instituto Cervantes that endeavor to provide the best methodology of Spanish teaching, complemented by a range of audio/visual materials, handouts, the school's own materials, and the internet.
- Each student, upon request, receives an attendance certificate once they finish the course and has the option to take an exam at the end of the course. In order to receive a completion certificate, the student must obtain a passing grade of 60/100 or more.

  - Checkout and add personal details
  - Make a down payment by credit card, bank transfer, WeChat payment or Alipay. The down payment will be deducted from the total amount due on your first day at school.
- Please note, Semi-Intensive and Intensive students are mixed in the same groups. Before electing the Semi-Intensive option, you should be aware that some of the other students in your class will be having 2 additional daily classes, so you will need to do some extra study in order to catch up with the rest of your classmates. This option is therefore not recommended for total beginners as at this early stage the pace of learning is faster and you may fall behind those taking the class Intensively. On the Semi Intensive Course you will join either a morning or an afternoon Intensive class and can choose to attend either the first half of the class (starting at 9am or 1pm) or the second half of the class (starting at 11.10 or 15.10).
  
  We find this option does work well for many students who have time constraints that mean they can't attend the full Intensive class and especially those who have some interaction with Spanish outside of the classroom.
