Madrid is not only the capital of Spain but also the cultural epicenter of Spanish bohemian life: the list of famous Spanish masters is endless (Goya, Velázquez, El Greco and, of course, Picasso to name a few) and its modern art scene is ever flourishing. What’s more, the Spanish capital is considered one of the top European destinations for art museums worldwide! So what better way to get inside the minds of the masters than to delve into their mother tongue, see their homeland through their own eyes, and learn how to express yourself in their own words? Your energetic Spanish classes will, of course, take place with our inspired teachers here at AIL Madrid, where classes include grammar exercises, debates, games, and fun conversation. For the artistic portion of the course, we partner with one of Madrid´s most established art schools, allowing you to choose between two mediums: colorful painting and drawing or rich and earthy ceramics. Professional artists will walk you through new techniques, giving insight into color and texture, while allowing you to explore your personal style. To ensure you enjoy your art course as much as possible, this course is only be available to students that have a minimum of A2 level Spanish and/or B2 level English.
